Tonight Patrick had another collision...this time the same eyebrow hit the edge of Mary Clare's bed, and I have to say, the split definitely tops the last one. Positioned just above his still-healing eyebrow split #1 from St. Louis, and of course going directly through his eyebrow hair, gash #2 is now patched up. Mom's reaction time was slower than the first time (lots of walking in circles trying to decide what to do...mainly reluctant to go to the ER, being a Sunday, but wanting to get him patched up the right way). Unfortunately we did not have the swift and direct personal help of trusty Uncle Pat and Aunt Maymel, but via cell phone pictures and conversations with Dr. Pat and Nurse Mel, Patrick now has a nice web of steri-strips, with a new addition of a Woody and Bullseye bandaid on top. I think he will live. Oh, what he future holds for this boy...
