Fairies and Abstracts

During these last few summer days, we've been hanging out at the house. We play pretend e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. Normal stuff, like house, doctor, vet, fairies, library, restaurant (where the play kitchen's sink was surreptitiously filled with water). And some new ones we've invented like "the jumping place" (where we destroy the den), taking trips to Paris (complete with set up hoo-tel, as MC says, suitcases, itinerary to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, and wardrobe changes for different days), and Mom's required and frequent appearances as the darling couple's dear visiting friend Eloise (!?! not my doing). We have also been enjoying arts and crafts...painting, clay (which ended up ALL over the house), bookmaking (mom recorded MC's "stories"...HILarious) and lots of coloring. Yea summer!
