Amy's Wedding, or Flower Girl Take 2 (or 3)

This weekend the kids and I loaded up with the rest of my family and headed to the farm in beautiful Marion, Alabama for my cousin Amy's wedding. (Stephen had to stay in the 'ham for my art show in Crestline...thank you Steves!!!) The kids had a blast exploring the farm, and Patrick especially LOVED the tractors and farm equipment.

I had fun taking tons pictures of the fields, trees, barns and cows for future paintings...until I accidentally zapped myself on an electric fence that we had decided wasn't working. Um, it was...apparently. Ouch.

Once Mary Clare was all dolled up, my beautiful flower girl posed and practiced and had some time to play.

Amy told her to make sure to throw all of the petals, and when Mary Clare made it to the porch steps, she saw she had about half the petals left, so...she turned around, threw a few more bunches, then dumped the rest to hurry things up. Hilarious!

It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful day!
